Please note that the biometric collection is necessary during each submission of your documents for French overseas departments excluding children under the age of 12 and persons for whom the collection of fingerprints is physically impossible.

French overseas departments include: Guadeloupe, Martinique, Reunion and Guiana.

French overseas departments of Americain region include Saint-Martin, Saint-Barthelemy and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon. Such territories as Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthelemy are administrative departments of Guadeloupe.
Other French overseas regions and collectivities include New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Wallis and Futuna, Mayotte.

Please note that the applicants who possess the ordinary international passport and have a valid French Schengen multiple entries visas from 180 days to 5 years do not require to have a visa to visit French overseas departments (DROM, CTOM). This rule is also applicable to the applicants who possess the diplomatic passport.

Please note that the new procedure is implemented for the submission of the applications for Schengen plus DROM/CTOM visas.
The applicant should preview the minimum of three weeks before the planned departure to submit the application on Schengen plus DROM/CTOM visas.

Touristic Visa

The applicant planning submission of the application for Schengen plus DROM/CTOM visa should first submit the application for a Schengen Visa. After the processing of the application two variants are possible;

1) The French Schengen Visa multiple entries from 180 days to 5 years is issued. The applicant doesn't need to submit the application for DROM/CTOM visa.
2) The French Schengen Visa one entry or multiple entries 45 days within 90 days is issued. The applicant has to submit the application for DROM.CTOM Visa.

Business Visa (seamen)

1) In case of the submission of the application for Schengen+DROM/CTOM+Fast track two applications are accepted by the Visa Application Center. If the Embassy of France in Ukraine issues the French Schengen Visa multiple entries from 180 days and more the fees paid for the DROM/CTOM application are not refunded.
2) In case of usual submission (without Fast track case) the general rule (touristic visa) is applicable for the applicants.

It must be noted that the grant or refusal of the French visa is at the sole discretion of the Embassy of France and VAC is neither involved in the process nor is liable or responsible in any manner whatsoever for any delay in processing or granting or rejection of the visa application of any applicant by the Embassy of France which reserves the right to ask for further documentation related to any visa application.

Step 2
Book an appointment to visit Visa Application Centre: To visit Visa Application Centre you need to Schedule Appointment. You can book an appointment online or by calling the Call Centre. Details provided on this website to schedule an appointment.

Step 3
Submit your application: Visit Visa Application Centre as per appointment scheduled and submit your completed Visa Application Forms along with required supporting documents.

Step 4
Pay applicable Fee: Submission Officer will advise you on total payable amount and guide you to the bank cashier where you need to pay in local currency (Hryvnia). Receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre.
