Dear Applicants!

Please note that effective 10 July 2017 applicants who are planning to submit Long Term Visa application at France Visa Application Centre can submit their applications without prior appointment,

31 May 2017 : Effective 30 May 2017 due to the instructions of the Embassy of France the Visa Application Centre will not accept the owners of biometric passports for short stay Schengen visas.
22 January 2017 : France Visa Application Centre will accept applicants only as per the prior appointment

Please note that effective 19 December 2016 documents for below mentioned Long Stay visa categories will be accepted at France Visa Application Centre: Visa Au-Pair, Visa for Scientists and their relatives, Visa for Visit, Visa for Ancestry (in charge and not in charge of French citizen).

Please note that effective 1 April 2015 you can order the Form Filling Service for Long Term visa categories. The service is purely optional and the applicants may avail this service at a nominal price of UAH 75 (VAT included).

Please note that effective 2 January 2015 the documents for below mentioned Long Stay visa categories will be accepted at France Visa Application Centre: Student visa, Long Term Employment visa (<90 days), Spouses of French Nationals (Long Term), Family Reunion.

The Embassy of France in Ukraine will study every request from travel agencies regarding the increase of the weekly quota and will look into every request which the travel agency would consider to be sent.

Courier after Submission
Now, applicants can order courier delivery of the processed documents after submission - a convenient and reliable way to save time and receive the documents without visiting the Visa Application Center. 29 January 2014: The Personal Data Information Agreement

It Is Important:

Every applicant has to sign personally the Personal Data Information Agreement and mention the e-mail address. I case if the applicant doesn’t have the e-mail address, he (she) is to mention the residence address. Applicants will receive a letter on the e-mail address/residence address with the information that their personal data is purged from the system.

13 November 2012: Passport Delivery

If the applicant due to some reasons is unable to collect his/her passport from the Visa Application Centre personally, the passport can be collected by:

Parents – with power of attorney written in a free form and a birth certificate
Spouse – with power of attorney written in a free form and a mariiage certificate
Children above 18 – with power of attorney written in a free form and a birth certificate

For the applicants who send their documents by two way courier TMM Express Please note that only originals of your international passports, invitation and notarized authorization for children are required to be provided for applying visa. Other originals are not required by the Embassy of France in Ukraine. As per the Embassy of France for other documents please provide the photocopies and not the originals.

Please note that as per the instructions of the Embassy of France in Kyiv effective 19 March 2012 the Visa Application Center will be accepting applications from accredited travel agencies only from 8:30 till 13:00.


Embassy does not recommend applicants to take assistance from any kind of unauthorized agents - especially agents offering such services outside the Embassy and Visa Application Centre entrance. Neither the Embassy nor Visa Application Centre approve of such practices. Neither the Embassy nor Visa Application Centre do not work with external agencies.

Effective 1 September 2011 the applicants should submit new version of Visa Application Form. Old version of the Visa Application Form will not be accepted. To download new Visa Application Form, please go to “Visa Application Form” link on this website. You can also receive new version of Visa Application Form in the Visa Application Centre.

Application form for Schengen visa should contain 2 signatures. Application forms with one signature would not be accepted.

All minors must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian at the time of application submission. Visa application forms of such minors must be signed by a parent/legal guardian.
