Please note that effective 23 June 2015 due to the Biometric roll-out new procedure has been implemented for application submission of accredited travel agencies.

The representative of the travel agency should be present at the VAC in the morning with all sets of documents and all tourists. After the applications submission the representative is directed to the cashier desk and after the payments are done, new token is given to the representative of the travel agency. Each tourist is invited into Biometric booth to provide biometric data. After all applicants submit their biometric data the representative of the travel agency with tourists can leave the VAC. Children of 12 years and above should come personally to submit their biometric data.

The representative of the business company should be present at the VAC in the morning with all sets of documents and all applicants. After the applications submission the representative is directed to the cashier desk and after the payments are done, new token is given to the representative of the travel accredited company. Each applicant is invited into Biometric booth to provide biometric data. After all applicants submit their biometric data the representative of the accredited company with applicants can leave the VAC. Children of 12 years and above should come personally to submit their biometric data.

Passport delivery

If the applicant due to some reasons is unable to collect his/her passport from the Visa Application Centre personally. The passport can be collected by:
Parents – with the power of attorney written in a free form and a birth certificate.
Spouse – with the power of attorney written in a free form and a marriage certificate
Children above 18 – with the power of attorney written in a free form and a birth certificate.

If you wish to visit France for a short period of time (less than 90 days), you must obtain a Short Term visa.

A visa is only intended to allow a foreign national to visit France and/or the other Schengen countries* for a limited period of time. If you wish to reside in France for an extended period of time (more than 90 days), you need to apply for a long term visa directly at the Embassy.

* Schengen countries: Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Person who was issued French Schengen visa may travel throughout the Schengen zone, even if the first border of entry is not France. But if a person has a Schengen visa issued by the Embassy of France, France must be country of the main destination.

Applications’ submission in Lviv, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk regions

Since 1 May 2013 France is represented by the Czech Republic in Lviv, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk regions in the issuing of Short term Schengen Visas.

Citizens of Ukraine and other countries permanently residing in Ukraine in these three regions can apply for short-term Schengen visas:

Step 1
Prepare your application and supporting documents: Go to ‘All about your visas’ link on this website and find out details related to the visa category you want to apply for – here, you can find the applicable fee, documents required, Visa application form and more.

Step 2
Book an appointment to visit Visa Application Centre: To visit Visa Application Centre you need to Schedule Appointment. You can book an appointment online or by calling the Call Centre. Details provided on this website to schedule an appointment.

Step 3
Submit your application: Visit Visa Application Centre as per appointment scheduled and submit your completed Visa Application Forms along with required supporting documents.

Step 4
Pay applicable Fee: Submission Officer will advise you on total payable amount and guide you to the bank cashier where you need to pay in local currency (Hryvnia). Receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre.
